Hi! I'm Misty Nixon, the hands in the soil and heart behind Nixon Holler. For the past four years, I've been cultivating more than just flowers – I've been growing a dream rooted in bringing beauty and joy to our community.

My journey into flower farming began in 2021, transforming this piece of earth into a vibrant tapestry of colors and scents. From tulips dancing in the spring breeze to dahlias painting the late summer skies, each season brings its own magic to our fields.

Here at Nixon Holler, every stem is thoughtfully grown using sustainable practices that nurture both the soil and soul. Whether you're picking your own bouquet, joining one of our seasonal workshops, or stopping by our farmstand for fresh-cut flowers, you're experiencing flowers at their peak – harvested just hours before they reach your hands.

What makes our farm special isn't just the flowers – it's the experiences we create together. From photography sessions in our tulip fields to intimate floral design workshops, we're here to help you connect with the natural rhythm of the seasons and the simple joy of fresh, local flowers.

When I'm not in the fields planting, weeding, or harvesting, you might find me arranging flowers for our CSA subscribers, sharing growing tips at a workshop, or planning next season's garden – always with a cup of coffee in hand and usually with soil under my nails.
